Does it matter what age I am?

No, we welcome students of all ages (16+) and all levels of experience.

When are you open?

5 days a week. 51 weeks a year (we close for 1 week over Christmas)

Can you help me get work once I’ve finished the course?

Yes, we have working relationships with a number of top London barbers who are always looking to employ fresh talent.

Am I going to get a certificate upon course completion?

Yes, you will get a diploma from the London School of Barbering upon completion of your course. If you are taking an NVQ course, you will get an NVQ Level 2 in Barbering certificate.

Where can I find your course dates?

Unlike most schools, we can be flexible with our dates and courses, to suit your time and needs. Please contact us to arrange a date and time, for whichever course suit you. See all the courses we offer here.

Do I need to pay extra VAT?

NO, The VAT is included in the course fee. See our course fees here.

How can I pay for the course?

You can pay for the course at the London School of Barbering by cash, cheque, credit card, PayPal or bank transfer.

Do you have a payment plan?

Yes, if you unable to pay for the course in full immediately, then we ask for is a deposit of 10% to secure your place on the course. The remaining amount must be paid at the start of the course. 

Can I visit the school?

Yes. We welcome any visits prior to any bookings, or after bookings, so that you can see how we operate.

Can I study part time?

Yes, we offer flexible days and evening classes. See all the courses we offer here. 

Will I be ready to work and find a job within the barbering industry on completion?

We have an extensive network of partners and contacts in the industry. Part of our promise is to help all deserving students in finding prospective employers and assisting you in building your career. 

Do I need to bring my own kit?

This is entirely up to you. We will happily provide you with a kit for a charge, please contact us for details. If you prefer to buy elsewhere, feel free to do so, we will provide you with a kit list.

If you can’t afford to get a kit, we can loan you the necessary tools and equipment free of charge.

Are there any entry requirements?

No, we provide courses for complete beginners to advanced professional level. We run a variety of courses, which means that you can choose one that is best suited for you. Depending on where you are with your learning progress, we also offer Refresher courses and individual training session.

What are your class sizes?

Class sizes are no bigger than 6 to a class. We keep the class sizes small so that you can receive maximum attention from our tutors. 

Can you help find accommodation?

Yes, we can help with cheap and affordable accommodation.
