London School of Barbering Visits Paris
The London School of Barbering team touched down in the French capital of Paris last month on a special day visit to ISEC – a school dedicated to teaching hairdressing courses. Barbering is not very popular in France with a lack of barbering academies available to learn this unique craft. So ISEC were over the moon having the LSB team visiting them, to share our outstanding expertise in barbering and our definitive cutting techniques all presented in an exclusive 1-day workshop.
Creative Director, Michael Kontos, our Head Educator, Pavlos Hadjisoteris and our Managing Director, Justis McEvilly who went on the trip enjoyed meeting all of the ISEC team. They felt honoured to have the opportunity to bring our high class barbering education to both the students and teachers of ISEC.
The workshop featured two demonstrations of a chosen haircut accompanied by a beard trim focusing on fading and scissor work. Leading Creative Director Michael and Head Educator Pavlos engaged the large audience by carrying out an insightful demonstration each, discussing the techniques they were using in a step by step manner.
ISEC offer three specific courses designed to learn the craft of hairdressing and how to manage the business side of hairdressing. They were very keen to have real experts from a barbering discipline in to visit their school, in order to show their students exactly the high level of barbering that exists in the hair industry outside of France.
After a successful 1 day workshop, ISEC did mention that they may consider partnering with us. They like the idea of London School of Barbering offering short courses at their school. So watch this space…….
Look at the absolute superb and immaculate haircuts executed at the end of both demonstrations. You can see from our faultless cutting techniques that we create bloody great haircuts that are full of precision with a spotless finish!
A special thank you to the ISEC team for their brilliant hospitality throughout the workshop – the LSB team had a great time!
