We are delighted to have our LSB boys Matthew Jessop and Troy Argones representing London School of Barbering at BARBERLIFE expo this year on the last weekend in February in Brighton. Paul Hewitt and Brad Cowan’s small pop up barbershop were coming to the Brighton Tattoo Convention for years. As a result of Paul’s and Brad’s pop up barbershop being present at the event, it started getting recognition from around the world from other barbers who wanted to join the event. This lead to the launch of BARBERLIFE expo, which is now lead by Paul Hewitt and Anna Hewitt from Blk L’Amour Barbers, Brad Cowan and Nick Proctor. Now in its 4th year, the goal is to bring core barbering from the barbershop environment into the convention.
Top notch tattoo artists and barbers come together from all corners of the globe to showcase the standard of their craftsmanship, helping draw in the crowds.
We are delighted to be the first barber school making our mark and being the very first educational barber brand to take part in BARBERLIFE. We have to say we feel privileged to have the opportunity to embrace the barbering community and barber life culture through our association with BARBERLIFE expo this year.
Matthew and Troy will be working alongside some of the world’s most recognised and respected barbers in the world. They will be dishing out hot haircuts on both the Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th February, if your barnet is in need of just a trim or a complete overall cut. Haircuts will be starting at £25.
Expect a kicking show this year with barbershops from LA, New Jersey, Athens, Belgium, Israel and the UK along with special guests attending this year. There will also be a live DJ set, so the vibe will be buzzing!
Troy has worked at an wide range of events all over the world and he was working at Barberlife last year, before he joined us as an educator at London School of Barbering.
