Introducing LSB Ambassador Kip aka Kipkhi.
Before coming to LSB Kip was working as a Border Force Officer at Heathrow Airport, as well as cutting hair for friends and family.
Kip started his barbering journey at a young age when he would experiment cutting his own hair, which then led him on to cutting friends and family. His Clippers would travel with him wherever he went, not missing any opportunity to cut hair. This experience helped him harness his skills whilst taking a few risks along the way.
To build up his knowledge and skills he continued watching online tutorials and doing extensive research of all different types of methods and techniques, until eventually he felt the need to take it to the next level and to experience a higher level of training.
After researching different courses and academies, Kip found London School of Barbering, which ticked all the boxes for him. The turning point was 2021 when he took the leap and enrolled in the Beginner to Masters 12-week course at London School of Barbering.
Kip’s time at LSB allowed him to not only build on skills that he already had, but also to gain a whole new insight and perspective into the theory behind hair. The course enabled him to become more confident and capable of delivering complex haircuts and in time allowed him to express himself and find his own style.
He enjoyed the course immensely and eventually went on to win the Hair Cutting Competition.
Kip would like to use what he has learnt at LSB, to teach others so they can too unlock their barbering potential.
You can catch Kip working at Guys x Dolls, and he works to continually to push himself to his absolute limit to unlock his place in the barbering industry.
