Student Stories – Tam

Tam previously worked as a sales advisor in Harvey Nichols and decided to study at London School of Barbering after one of his friends recommended us from a course they did back in 2012.

Tam’s ambition is to have his own business one day, after gaining some experience. We asked him what his favourite haircut was to do and he replied with the academy favourite, the skin fade. ‘It’s the satisfaction you get when you do a nice fade,’ he explains.

He finds his inspiration in influential barbers like Julius Caesar and Mark Bustos and we’re sure that his time with us will help Tam on his way to achieving his ultimate barbershop dream. He says about being an LSB student, ‘I am learning to cut hair for the first time and I have really appreciated the support and help from everyone.’

What Tam listens to when he’s cutting:
Hip Hop, RnB & Grime
